“…Previous studies have shown that information release can regulate organisms into exhibiting specific behavioral responses, and those responses can be either positive or negative. For example, Li et al [ 44 ] pointed out that information release promotes the transformation of consumers’ pro-environmental food purchase preference into actual purchase behavior, while Streletskaya et al [ 45 ] and Wilson et al [ 46 ] believe that information release hinders the conversion of consumers’ high willingness to pay for emerging food to actual payment behavior by eliminating cognitive bias.
