The purpose of this study is to determine whether or not employing the WhatsApp application as a learning assistance medium is successful. This study was carried out because social media apps now have a significant impact on the learning process, one of which is at SMP Negeri 2 Tondano. The issues presented in this study include the process of using WhatsApp in the learning process of students at SMP Negeri 2 Tondano, as well as the hurdles in adopting the usage of WhatsApp in the learning process. A qualitative methodology with descriptive research was employed in this study. Interviews, observations, and recording of instructors and students in class 9C were used to obtain research data. According to the findings of the research, the WhatsApp application has features that can support it as a medium in the learning process. WhatsApp is also capable of making the teacher's job easier if they are unable to enter the classroom due to external assignments or meetings that cannot be left behind. Students who are unable to attend can also send assignments and notifications to the teacher concerned via WhatsApp. The hurdles include that not all students have cell phones, that learning is less effective because the teacher does not always explain the content directly, and that the teacher cannot perceive the students' seriousness in studying. WhatsApp, as an intriguing tool, is a helpful medium in the learning process, however it must be balanced by the teacher's function of entering the classroom to explain the subject and the processes for carrying out assignments directly.

The purpose of this research is to investigate the abilities of conducting effective small group conversations in the setting of class III students, specifically at SD Inpres 10/73 Pandu. Small group discussions are a collaborative learning technique that can improve student active engagement while also developing critical thinking abilities. This study's research methodology is a qualitative approach using case study research. Interviews and classroom observations with students and instructors were used to obtain data. The study's findings indicate that there are various extremely successful strategies of conducting a small group conversation to students/I class III SD Inpres 10/73 Pandu, including providing discussion goals. As discussion guides, we must decide what we want to accomplish in the conversation. Prepare conversation themes and material, prepare discussion topics or material to be discussed, and gather appropriate material or resources. Provide chances for all kids and guarantee that all students may engage in the conversation. Pay close attention to the comments of numerous pupils who wish to present their points or ask questions. The last one employs tactics for leading the appropriate groups and assisting pupils in broadening their thoughts.

The purpose of this study is to learn about the teacher's attempts to increase student learning interest in social studies courses at The State Middle High School 2 Tondano. The approach employed is qualitative, with the major data gathering tools being observation, documentation, and interviews. Purposive sampling was used to choose the research sample, and the social studies instructor was chosen as the study informant. The data analysis method employed is qualitative analysis with three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusion. The findings of this study: (1) IPS topic instructors at The State Middle High School 2 Tondano have focused on preparations to boost students' enthusiasm in learning Social Studies, such as creating lesson plans, developing acceptable learning objectives, creating learning resources, and defining relevant learning models. (2) The State Middle High School 2 Tondano teachers have made positive efforts to develop students' interest in learning social studies by doing things like: creating a good learning atmosphere, providing motivation, developing student creativity, providing opportunities to submit creative ideas, providing guidance, providing a good learning environment, and rewarding students. Everything is done to pique students' interest in social studies education.
