“…Wang et al [62] evaluated HTL of aseptic cartons using SCW (sub/supercritical water: T c = 374 • C and P c = 22.1 MPa) in micro-batch reactors. The influence of temperature (300 to 420 • C), pressure (16 to 24 MPa), residence time (5 to 60 min) and feed concentration (5 to 40 wt%) on bio-oil yield, HHV (high heating value), and functional groups in bio-oil were investigated.…”

“…Arun et al ( 2021 ), who investigated the HTL of Prosopis juliflora biomass, found that the optimum biocrude oil yield was 22.3% w/w at 300 °C, 60 min, and a 1:20 biomass to solvent ratio. Wang et al ( 2019 ) carried out HTL of waste Tetra Pak in sub- and supercritical water in a micro-batch reactor (100 mm long and 7.5 mm in diameter). They found that the maximum yield of biocrude oil was about 36% w/w at 360 °C, 22 MPa, 30 min, with a feed concentration of 20% w/w , and their biocrude oil mainly contained ketones, phenolics, esters, and alcohols.…”

“…Results show that the deoxidization rate of corn stalk and rice stalk could reach 50 %. In our previous study we investigated the operating conditions for the liquefaction of Tetra Pak waste and found that the maximum bio-oil yield of 35.55 wt % can be reached at 360°C, 22 MPa, and 30 min [23].…”
