Influence of secondary structures formation on tribological properties of aluminum alloys- steel friction pairs

Abstract: the present paper describes the elemental composition of secondary structures formed on the contact surface during wear test of experimental high-alloyed Al alloys against 38CrNi3Mo steel. The composition of experimental aluminum alloys have Sn content between 5.4-11% and, additionally, these alloys have a Pb, Cu, Si, Mg, and Zn in its chemical composition.
