Two field experiments were carried out during the two summer seasons of 2019 and 2020 in the private Vegetable Farm, Abou-Hammad District, Sharkia Governorate, Egypt . The aim of this experiment was to study the effect of foliar spray with vermicompost tea (VCT) as a natural fertilizer ( 2.5 and 5 ml /l ) and yeast extract (YE) as biostimulant ( 15 and 30 g / l) , as well as sprayed with water on vegetative growth and yield and its components of two eggplant cultivars ( long black and long white as long slender fruits ). Foliar spray of two cultivars of eggplant grown in sandy loam soil during summer plantations with vermicompost tea at 2.5 or 5ml /l and yeast extract at 15 and 30 g /l increased vegetative growth and fruit yield compared to foliar spray the same cultivars with water (control) . Spraying long black cultivar plants with vermicompost tea at 5 ml /l recorded the tallest plants and gave the highest number of both leaves and branches/ plant, fresh and dry weight of branches , leaves and shoots /plant, chlorophyll a, b, total (a+b) and carotenoides in leaf tissues, average number of fruits/plant, average fruit weight, yield / plant , total yield /fad. and fruit length and diameter.

The present investigation was carried out during the two successive seasons of 2018/2019 and 2019/2020 at Abo El-Matameer, Behairah Governorate, Egypt to study the effect of seven treatments a foliar application, i.e. control (spray with water only), dry yeast at 2g/L, dry yeast at 4 g/L, urea at 0.5%, urea at 1.0%, urea at 1.5%, and urea at 2% on growth, yield and chemical content of lettuce plants.The experiment was arranged in a randomized complete blocks design in three replications. The obtained results are summarized as follows:Using urea and dry yeast extract levels as a foliar spray on vegetative growth characters, i.e. root length, head length, number of leaves/head, length and width of leaf, diameter of head , fresh and dry weight of head, pigments content ,chemical contents and head yield of lettuce and its components were significantly increased compared to the control treatment. The highest values of these characters of lettuce were recorded by using 1% urea, in both growing seasons. This treatment was followed by the treatments of dry yeast extract at 4 g/L, dry yeast extract at 2 g/L, and urea at 0.5%, respectively.Conclusively: It can be concluded that the treatment of 1% urea gave the best results on all characters of head lettuce. Two experiments were carried out at a private Farm in Rowad Village belong to Sahl El-Husseiniya, Sharkia Governorate through 2019 and 2020 seasons to determine the impact of organic,chemical fertilizations and spraying with some plant stimulants (yeast extract, potassium silicate and chicken manure tea) on growth traits, yield and its components and chemical ingredients of eggplant(Black Beauty cultivar) grownup under saline soil. The experiments were conducted using split-plots design with three replications. Organic and chemical fertilization treatments were arranged in the main-plots. The sub-plots were assigned to some plant stimulants (yeast extract, potassium silicate and chicken manure tea) treatments.The obtained results showed that growth, yield and its components and chemical ingredients of both eggplant leaves and fruits were significantly affected by the different levels of organic and chemical fertilization in both time of years. The supreme values of these traits were obtained from using 100%of (NP and K)chemical + 0% of (FYM) farmyard manure fertilizers,50%of NP and K+ 50% of FYM and75%of NP and K+ 25% of FYM fertilizers.Spraying eggplant plants with potassium silicate, chicken manure tea and yeast extract significantly improved growth, yield and its components and chemical in gredients in leaves and fruits through both years. It could be recommended that spraying eggplant plants with yeast extract with using50%of NP and K+ 50% of FYM to enhance growth, yield and its components and chemical ingredients under the ecological situation of this research.
