“…3 that even the film annealed at 600 1C shows amorphous behavior, while the film of SiO 2 -700 exhibits the best crystallinity among polycrystalline Ce 1 Y 2 Fe 5 O 12 in our experiment. As for the SiO 2 -700 film, there are two weak and wide peaks representing Fe 2 O 3 (1 0 4) and YFeO 3 (0 4 0) besides Ce 1 Y 2 Fe 5 O 12 phase, which is considered to be a result of the narrow range of single YIG phase as can be seen from the pseudo-binary phase diagram of Fe 2 O 3 and Y 2 O 3 [12]. Compared to SiO 2 -700, the Ce:YIG (4 0 0) peak in SiO 2 -800 broadens towards low 2y values, indicating the presence of CeO 2 .…”
