Influence of Direct Reduction Condition of Hematite Pellets with H2/CO on the Oxidation Behaviour of DRI in Air

Abstract: Direct reduced iron (DRI) is the product of some commercial direct reduction (DR) of iron ore on base of natural gas. DRI tends to oxidize in air generally above 300 °C and then follows spontaneous combustion. To control the oxidation mechanism, several investigators have used different iron samples and methods.
