Influence of Design Parameters on Vertical Motions of Trawler Hull Forms in Head Seas

Abstract: The influence of ship length, length to beam ratio, beam to draft ratio, prismatic coefficient, non-dimensional radius of gyration and Froude number upon significant amplitude of coupled heaving and pitching motions of trawler hull forms for six different sea states has been studied.
