“…Based on this, it can be concluded that the modification of the surface of titanium oxide by sulfo groups does not affect its structure. Peaks were found in the structure of molybdenum-containing catalysts at 2θ values of 25.3, 37.9, 48.1, 54.0, and 55.0 corresponding to anatase, 48 as well as 27.2, 36, and 41 corresponding to the structure of rutile, 49 which was originally present in the initial titanium oxide (Figure 3). No sharp diffraction peak of Mo was detected in the obtained samples, which may be due to a similar ion radius of Mo 6+ (0.59 Å) and Ti 4+ (0.65 Å), which led to the fact that Mo 6+ was well dispersed on a titanium dioxide carrier or was included in the titanium dioxide matrix in an amorphous form.…”

“…To the best of our knowledge, TiO 2 has been considered an important catalyst in the treatment of various air and water pollutants, because of its intrinsic properties, such as strong oxidizing powder, chemical inertness, and long-term stability. There are many reports on the photocatalytic activity of containing TiO 2 composites [12][13] O ( the molar ratio is 1.6:1:2) together with carnelian mortar, and then sintering the precursor powder at 900 ℃ in air for 10 h. The preparation of TiO 2 /La 2 Zr 2 O 7 composites was carried out as follows. An appropriate amount of La 2 Zr 2 O 7 was dissolved in distilled water with vigorous stirring, which was named as solution A.…”
