Inductive Magnetic Nanoparticle Sensor Based on Microfluidic Chip Oil Detection Technology

Abstract: The wear debris in hydraulic oil or lubricating oil has a wealth of equipment operating information, which is an important basis for large mechanical equipment detection and fault diagnosis. Based on traditional inductive oil detection technology, magnetic nanoparticles are exploited in this paper. A new inductive oil detection sensor is designed based on the characteristics of magnetic nanoparticles. The sensor improves detection sensitivity based on distinguishing between ferromagnetic and non-ferromagnetic … Show more

“…The frequency was 2 MHz, the voltage was 2 V, the inner diameter of the ring channel was 300 μm and the presented number of coil turns was 100 turns. The simulation analysis comparison between the annular microchannel and the 300 μm microchannel in other works [ 32 ] are established, as shown in Figure 4 below.…”

“…However, this result was not verified therefore, an experiment was conducted to confirm the result. In the experiment, the 300 μm microchannel produced previously by our team was selected [ 32 ] and the annular microchannels designed in this paper for comparison experiments. First, we determined that the oil flow speed in the two sensor microchannels are the same.…”

“…Zhao et al demonstrates a promising alternative to this approach by using poly (amino ester) with carboxyl groups (PC)-coated magnetic NPs (pcMNPs) [ 125 ]. The authors successfully fabricated pcMNPs and directly introduced into RT-PCR reaction initiated by combining the lysis and binding step into single step.…”
