Induced magnetic anisotropy of Co-based amorphous alloys

Abstract: The effect of the rotating magnetic field annealing on high magnetic induction amorphous alloy Fe5Co75Si4B16 (TC≳Tx) was studied. Experimental results and the theoretical analysis gave the following conclusions. 1) Induced magnetic anisotropy is dispersed by the rotating magnetic field annealing. 2) The relationship between magnetic permeability μ and number of rotations R is given by the formula 3) The rotating field annealing is useful to eliminate the induced magnetic anisotropy, especially for the amorphou… Show more

“…The values of p i for Alnico 5 and 5-7 are particularly high compared to ph, as was the case for recoil permeability, and this would tend to enhance transverse flux in a magnet that directly experiences armature reaction in an [SI electrical machine. If an exact model of a permanent magnet is required, then the rotation of M0 is found using (15) [ 6 ] or (20 Measurements are carried out on samples in a stress-relieved state and with magnetic anisotropies induced by stress or field annealing. At f = 50 Hz, a minimum in PT versus u is observed.…”
