Oil is one of the vital energy sources in a country. Indonesia is one of the countries that was once the world's primary leading producer but is currently threatened with an oil deficit. This condition certainly requires the right strategy and policy so that Indonesia can meet its domestic oil needs. This study aims to forecast Indonesia's oil consumption and production for 2022-2026 using past data from 1980-2021. This study used the Auto-Regressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model, where several alternative models were produced in forecasting oil consumption, namely ARIMA (2, 1, 2), (2, 1, 16), (15, 1, 2), and (15, 1, 16) and also alternative models of oil production, namely ARIMA (3, 1, 9), (3, 1, 11), (13, 1, 9), and (13, 1, 11). Based on several alternative models, the best models for forecasting oil consumption and oil production are (2, 1, 16) and (3, 1, 9), respectively. From the results of this study, it is reduced that Indonesia's oil consumption is far above oil production. This, if left unchecked, can negatively affect the country's economy. Thus, research can be used as a reference for policy-making related to fulfilling oil consumption and increasing oil production in Indonesia.

For centuries, humans have continued to deplete natural resources. The transportation sector is claimed to be the main culprit in wasting fossil energy. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of Fossil Fuels Electricity (FFE), Wind Electricity (WE), Solar Electricity (SE), Hydroelectricity (H), and Geothermal Electricity (GE) on Access to Electricity (AE) in Indonesia. The collection of data obtained from the Global Economy report, processed using time-series regression. Empirical testing clarifies that the increase in the variables of FFE, WE, SE, H, and GE, has increased AE in the short term. The more FFE, WE, SE, H, and GE increase 1 percent, the more AE increases in the long run. During 2013–2020, FFE as a variable that has a dominant effect on AE, where the nature of this energy is very limited, the frequency of its use is considered. Apart from the role of FFE which is crucial for basic human needs, it is necessary to restructure the rules that regulate, monitoring, and revitalize power generation systems based on natural gas, oil, and coal.

Minyak merupakan salah satu sumber energi penting dalam suatu negara. Indonesia adalah salah satu negara yang pernah menjadi penghasil minyak utama dunia, namun saat ini diancam mengalami deficit minyak. Kondisi ini tentu memerlukan startegi dan kebijakan yang tepat agar Indonesia mampu memenuhi kebutuhan minyak dalam negerinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meramalkan konsumsi dan produksi minyak Indonesia tahun 2022-2026 dengan menggunakan data masa lalu yakni tahun 1980-2021. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model Auto Regressive Integrated Moving Avarage (ARIMA), dimana dihasilkan beberapa model alternatif dalam peramalan konsumsi minyak, yakni ARIMA (2, 1, 2), (2, 1, 16), (15, 1, 2), dan (15, 1, 16) dan juga model alternatif produksi minyak yakni ARIMA (3, 1, 9), (3,1,11), (13, 1, 9), dan (13, 1, 11). Berdasarkan beberapa model alternatif tersebut diperoleh model terbaik untuk peramalan konsumsi minyak dan produksi minyak secara berturut-turut adalah (2, 1, 16) dan (3, 1, 9). Dari hasil penelitian ini diperediksi bahwa konsumsi minyak Indonesia jauh diatas produksi minyak. Hal ini jika dibiarkan secara terus-menurus dapat berpengaruh negative terhadap perekonomian negara. Dengan demikian penelitian dapat dijadikan referensi pengambilan kebijakan terkait pemenuhan konsumsi minyak serta peningkatan produksi minyak di Indonesia.
