Indicação da anuscopia de alta resolução e citologia anal na prevenção de HPV e câncer colorretal em pacientes portadores de HIV

Objectives:To estimate the prevalence of human papilloma virus in women with human immunodeficiency virus accompanied the referral center for sexually transmitted diseases in the city of Caxias (MA). Methodology: study performed in documentary form, descriptive, exploratory, retrospective study with a quantitative approach. Data were collected during the months of December 2012 to March 2013. Thus, the medical records of patients as well as a pre-coded and pre-tested semi-structured form was used. For data analysis, we used descriptive and univariate statistics. Results: 180 women participated in this study, most of whom were married (80.00%). Regarding risk factors, 60% were smokers, 40% of drinkers, 100% heterosexual and 80% were not using contraception. As to diagnosis, only anoscopy examination was not performed. In the case of opportunistic infections other than human papillomavirus found other types of sexually transmitted diseases in 100% of the sample. Furthermore, 100% of the customers surveyed presented with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia. Conclusion: In view of the results, it is suggested that the women coinfection infected by the human papilloma virus and human immunodeficiency virus women are vulnerable to the develop ment of cervical cancer. This reinforces the need for strengthening the gynecological screening and greatly disclosure of specific monitoring protocol for this population. Descriptors: co-infection. Cancer of the uterus. RESUMO Objetivos: Estimar a prevalência do vírus papiloma humano em mulheres com o vírus da imunodeficiência humana acompanhadas no centro de referência em doenças sexualmente transmissíveis no município de Caxias do Maranhão. Metodologia: estudo desenvolvido de forma documental, descritivo-exploratório e retrospectivo com abordagem quantitativa. Os dados foram coletados durante os meses de dezembro de 2012 a março de 2013. Para tanto, foi utilizado o prontuário das pacientes como também um formulário semiestruturado pré-codificado e pré-testado. Para análise dos dados, utilizou-se estatística descritiva e univariada. Resultados: Participaram dessa pesquisa 180 mulheres, que em sua maioria eram casadas (80,00%). A respeito dos fatores de risco 60% eram tabagistas, 40% etilista, 100% heterossexual e 80% não usavam contracepção. Quanto ao diagnostico, apenas o exame de anoscopia não era realizado. Em se tratando das infecções oportunistas foram encontrados além do papiloma vírus humano outros tipos de doenças sexualmente transmissíveis em 100% da amostra. Além do mais, 100% das clientes investigadas apresentavam neoplasia intraepitelial cervical. Conclusão: Ante os resultados, sugere-se que as mulheres infectadas pela coinfecção do papiloma vírus humano e do vírus imunodeficiência humana são vulneráveis ao desenvolvimento do câncer de colo de útero. Isso reforça a necessidade da intensificação do acompanhamento ginecológico e sobremodo a divulgação do protocolo de acompanhamento específico para essa população. Descritores: Coinfecção. Câncer...

Study objectives To perform anal lesion and anal cancer screening in men living with HIV/AIDS. Methods This is a descriptive, observational, cross-sectional study. Data were obtained from the Specialized Assistance Service (SAE) in Divinópolis, Minas Gerais. A sociodemographic, epidemiological, and sexual behavior questionnaire was applied; material was collected for cytology, high-resolution anoscopy (AAR) was performed, and an acceptability questionnaire applied. Main results Of the 50 men living with HIV/AIDS invited to participate in this study, 6% were excluded because they were illiterate, 40% refused to participate, and 54% participated in the survey. Among these, all answered the self-administered questionnaire. However, ten (37.0%) underwent proctological examination and anal cytology. Of these, two did not respond to the acceptability questionnaire. No anal lesions were identified during AAR and no biopsy was required. A 10% change in anal cytology was found. Conclusions Through the study it was possible to construct a flow of referrals from the SAE to the UFSJ Coloproctology outpatient clinic. Moreover, the existence of internal stigmas on the part of the participants regarding the proctological examination and the lack of information about anal cancer screening are challenges to be overcome.
