The use of Social Media has become pervasive. As an educator, this might facilitate the learning experiences, especially for second language learning. Bring that issues, this study intended to delve into students' perception regarding their experience in using mobile-assisted language learning (MALL) tools especially Instagram for speaking activity in English for Specific Purposes class. Besides, this study also explored students' opinions regarding the use of Instagram for language learning purposes. Two sets of questionnaires were distributed and analyzed. The result indicated that the participants expressed a positive perception of the use of Instagram for learning language purposes. The finding revealed that, among the participants, Instagram is the most popular social media. The positive students' perception is that learning through Instagram is effective because it provides a new way of learning language and it accelerates interactive vocabulary enrichment.

Facilitating student behavioral engagement in ESP classroom through teachers’ scaffolding talk

This study aims to describe the language delivered by teachers in the terms of teachers' scaffolding talk and the behavior engagement responded by the students in ESP agriculture Classroom. The investigation was conducted at a University in Sumbawa Besar, West Nusa Tenggara. Field note and video recordings were used to collect the data. During the observation, the data were then transcribed, simplified, displayed, and interpreted. The result shows there are four kinds of scaffolding talks namely prompting, dialoging, extension, and modeling from six kinds of scaffolding talk. Those scaffolding talks can facilitate the behavioral engagement of the students in ESP Classroom namely paying attention or focusing on the lesson, attempting to answer the question from the lecturer, and exerting themselves to actively participating in classroom interaction. These results suggest that lecturers and teachers may consider to apply the scaffolding talk before teaching the students in the classroom because methodology used by the teacher in teaching is as important as a talk in teaching.

Think Pair Share (TPS) based on Mathematical Good communication is a good thing expected related to the solutions students in college to improve the attractiveness and troubleshooting ability for mechanical engineering students in Indonesia. Research on this occasion is CAR (Class Action Research) . Results of the study are: (1) student interest before and after learning undergoes a change in the first cycle that 53% experienced an increase in 97% at cycle stage II, (2) there is an increase in in a student learning process activity that can be viewed from percentage level to student activities in the first phase cycle 83% which have a fairly active conclusion, and in the next cycle with 100%, (3) in this study there was an increase in the value of student achievement from has an average score of achieved from students in this early cycle 68 with the completeness of student learning in this study by 53% and in the second cycle 94 with 97% student learning completeness.
