“…Worldwide, strikingly, the high proportion of IBD-U was observed in the Netherlands[ 124 ] and the incidence of IBD cases is comparable with that reported in other European countries. In France, the incidence of CD significantly increased, while the incidence of UC remains unchanged from 1988 to 2011[ 32 , 43 , 125 - 128 ].
