This research aims to understand the philosophy of movements and the values embodied in Langka Lipu and to explore how this martial art has managed to survive. This research uses an ethnographic analysis. Ethnographic analysis is an approach that begins with field facts, analyzes them based on cultural theories and relevant arguments to explore the cultural situation of the community, and ultimately yields a conclusion. The results show that Langka Lipu, as a cultural heritage of the Banggai tribe, is more than just a martial arts practice; it is a profound philosophical expression. Religious values are integrated into every aspect of Langka Lipu, making it a means for spiritual and personal development. The educational values transmitted through the teacher-student relationship emphasize character formation and good social values. The cultural transmission process of Langka Lipu, demonstrates a structured strategy to preserve and disseminate this martial art. Thus, Langka Lipu is successfully preserved as a valuable cultural heritage and a crucial pillar of the Banggai indigenous people’s identity. Therefore, it is recommended that practitioners continue to explore and practice the religious and educational values contained in Langka Lipu to enrich and deepen the spiritual and social meanings of this cultural heritage. The Department of Tourism and Culture of Banggai Laut Regency is expected to increase support and recognition for Langka Lipu by integrating it into cultural development and tourism programs aimed at promoting and preserving the original cultural heritage of the Banggai tribe. For the Banggai indigenous people, it is crucial to continue actively participating in the cultural transmission process of Langka Lipu, whether through targeting potential teenagers, socializing values and philosophy, conducting regular training, or in efforts to increase the number of school branches, thus ensuring that the core values and essence of Langka Lipu continue to live and thrive within the community.

The aim of this study was to determine the interaction of eye-hand coordination, arm length and arm power with the ability to punch in front of the students of UNS Pencak Silat achievement coaching. Material and methods. The design or research design used is to use descriptive methods with correlational study techniques (correlation design). This research will describe the relationship and the amount of contribution between eye-hand coordination, arm length and arm power with the ability to punch ahead in the Pencak Silat sport. The population in this study were all students of UNS pencak silat achievement coaching which included fostering the achievements of the Faculty of sport, Tapak Suci student activity units, PSHT student activity units, Merpati Putih student activity units and student self-defense units. Results. Based on the results of research and the results of data analysis that has been done, the following conclusions can be obtained: There is a significant relationship between eye-hand coordination, arm length and arm power with the ability to punch in front of pencak silat with a significant value F count = 64,99 > F table = 2,81. Conclusions. Contribution of eye-hand coordination is the variable that has the most dominant contribution, then followed by the arm power variable and the smallest contribution is the arm length variable. Meanwhile the remaining 19.1% is contributed by factors other than those represented by independent variables. Predictions from researchers of these other factors could have been influenced by training factors or other physical condition factors that also supported the ability to punch in front of pencak silat.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model weight training terhadap peningkatan kinerja tendangan T siswa-siswi ekstrakurikuler Perisai Diri SMAN 1 Tumpang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pre-eksperimental dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 25 siswa-siswi dari jumlah keseluruhan 40 siswa-siswi, sampel diambil dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes penampilan keterampilan pencak silat (Lubis, 2004:96-98). Analisis data menggunakan uji paired sample t test dengan taraf signifikan alfa sama dengan 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh dua kesimpulan yaitu: (1) model weight training memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja tendangan T (Sig. 0,000 < 0,05) dan (2) ada perbedaan pengaruh sebelum perlakuan dan sesudah perlakuan dengan mean putra sebesar 12,00 dan mean putri sebesar 12,75.
