In this paper, we present the impact of concurrent engineering strategies, methods, and tools on product sustainability. Concurrent engineering can be used to achieve the primary goals of a product realization project: lower costs, shorter times, high quality, and increasing value. Currently, it is important that new products also meet product sustainability goals, such as economic, environmental, and social goals. The sustainability of a product can be influenced the most in the early stages of product development, so in this paper, we present a customized quality function deployment (QFD) method called the house of sustainability, which translates sustainability requirements into technical solutions for a product. A seven-step process for implementing a sustainable product realization project is also proposed, in which the house of sustainability is one of the most important tools. The proposed process is illustrated with an example of a concurrent product realization project in engineering to order production.

In the past ten years, the number of newly added labor forces in China has continued to grow. At the same time, with the increase in the number of university candidates, the number of university employments is also increasing. Due to employment pressure from society and alumni, the government promotes innovation and entrepreneurship and promotes innovative slogans through entrepreneurship. Universities have become the people who are concerned about this slogan. As an important tool for solving large-scale computer problems, scientific computing is increasingly used in various fields of science and engineering. With the development of high-performance computing technology, various parallel computers have appeared and are widely used. This article uses a scientific computing system to conduct research on innovation and entrepreneurship. The entire scientific computing system is a typical three-tier architecture, and the small service program is responsible for analyzing the scientific computing request in the request and generating related calculation expressions. Get the comprehensive evaluation level of innovation and entrepreneurship risk: excellent score is 3.45, good score is 2.56, general score is 1.68, and difference is 0.68.

Today, three conditions are crucial for a company to be competitive on the market: quality, reduced time and low costs for the development of new products. The paper shows how companies developing new products (NPD) for the market can successfully implement concurrent engineering as an improvement of project management, in order to reduce product development time and costs and to ensure the quality expected by customers. The methodology presented in this paper is based on three main pillars of knowledge: project management, teamwork and concurrent engineering. The methodology provides a step-by-step guideline for the introduction of concurrent engineering in a company. This paper also presents the results of 10 Slovenian companies where this methodology has been tested on 20 pilot projects. The results show that managed projects upgraded with the principles of concurrent engineering lead to cost reduction, shorter development time and fewer discrepancies.
