Now-a-days cloud computing is a prominent way of providing resources and services in very secure manner. Gradually more and more organizations, companies and industries are picking up cloud technology for the safe keeping of their data. The objective of this work is to apply cloud service in healthcare system by building a practical patient health record (PHR) application and deploying it in the cloud. The system is ‘doctor-centric’ health record portal where only the doctor or hospital authority is responsible for securing their patients’ health data and this labor-free, paperless system is giving relief to the doctors and hospital authorities from various error-prone traditional health record keeping systems. Jelastic cloud is used to provide cloud service to the developed application which provides security, scalability, quality of service and ease of maintenance of the application. Jelastic cloud also provides load balancing whenever the user load is high. We are developing an interactive PHR application which is dynamically storing, creating, modifying and maintaining data and deploying it in the Jelastic CloudJiffy server by the use of InMotion Hosting server. CloudJiffy is India based fully redundant, high performance and scalable cloud “Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)” under Jelastic Cloud Union. The whole system will be an efficient way for safe keeping Patients’ health records, their medical history and sensitive health information in a pervasive, confidential manner. The system is highly compatible for preserving medical records of eminent persons of our society and for those whose health information must be kept confidential in a highly secure way.

Cloud Computing is storing of data and application on remote servers and accessing them via internet rather than installing and saving them on your personal computers. As more publicly available scientific data sets become available, growing volume of this data has made it impractical to move data to desktop for analysis. These issues require a new computing paradigm-Cloud Computing. In recent years, advancement in cloud computing assure us to remove these barriers. Microsoft has huge contribution in the development of data centers for public cloud infrastructure, known as Microsoft Windows Azure, which serves the needs of scientific community. Microsoft Azure provides a variety of cloud service which enables you to select right combination that meet your needs from setting up a community website to document and discuss research findings to perform complex data analysis in scalable environment. The paper deals with a brief introduction about Microsoft Azure, its services, features and developing and deploying application onAzure cloud. It also describes the benefits offered by Azure Cloud Platform by comparing it with other Cloud Service Platform.

The new era of computation has given new directions for advancement and sophistication. The meaning of computation has made a paradigm shift from device and location orientation to the distributed level. Storage has become cheaper. Multiple technologies and their interconnections and their wide range of services have made this planet to be more sophisticated and more flexible in computing. Service orientation based computing of cloud has achieved a huge success. Data centers has already existing even before the emergence of cloud technology, but cloud makes these data centers to communicate, between these data centers and allocate the resources properly and functioning appropriately using a network and to used these resources and maintain them properly. Most of the cloud services providers have their own Data center. 'Azure' online cloud platform provided Microsoft provides cloud services and resources to the end-user. Its pricing mechanism is economical and flexible. One can learn Azure very easily and Micro soft company provides Azure certifications for the one who qualifies with international standards.
