“…β-Glucosidase (EC 3.2.1.21), which is also known as cellobiase and belongs to the glycoside hydrolase family, is an enzyme that acts on terminal, nonreducing β- d -glucosyl residues and breaks the glycosidic bond to remove the sugar moiety from glucosides .
