Improved Temperature Measurement in Batch Reactors

Abstract: Good process control can be hindered by the build-up of fouling on temperature measuring elements. The problem can be particularly acute for batch processes, where deposits on the temperature bulbs may lead to dangerous reaction conditions during the start-up, prolongation of the batch cycle time, or off-specification product.
