Important Finding for COVID-19 Pandemic: Hydrocephalus-producing effect of Vaporized Alcohol Disinfectant

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Alcohol exposure may cause hydrocephalus. In this study, the effect of vaporized nasal alcohol exposure on the choroid plexus, ependymal cells, and developing hydrocephalus was investigated. METHODS: 24 males (∼380g) Wistar rats were used in this study. Animals were divided into three groups, as the control, SHAM and study groups. Then, the study group was again divided into two groups as exposed to light or heavy dose alcohol. The choroid plexuses and intraventricular ependymal cells and ventricl… Show more

“…The sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems likely contribute to myoepithelial cell contraction in the basilar artery. The balance between cell proliferation and cell death is crucial in all tissues, particularly in the nervous system (18), the proper functioning of neurons relies on an abundant and continuous supply of oxygen (19). This study indicates that the degeneration of SCG cause the dissection of the basilar artery.…”

“…Many complications and death have been reported in COVID‐19 patients, because the virus is very contagious and can survive for at least several days on a variety of materials, and there is no effective drug against it to date. It is essential to stop uncontrolled spread of this virus 2 . For that reason, vaccination is an important issue for medical professions and other people.…”

“…Evaporating alcohol from disinfectants reaches the subarachnoid space through fila olfactoria and damages the choroid plexuses, which play the role of the brain’s spleen, liver, lung, kidney, etc., which may pave the way for serious dangers such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease. 70 Again, due to the gonadotropic and olfactotropic properties of COVID-19, localization of the olfactory and taste nerves will most likely cause important complications such as atrophy of the endo-exocrine glands, 67 depression, 68 atrophy of the mammary glands 66 intestinal immune deficiency 65 dysorgasmia, 32 and spermatogenesis disorders. 69 I think the complications will not be limited to this.…”
