In the 21st century, science and technology are becoming important factors in education to support teachers and students in accessing learning resources easily. This study aims to develop physics e-books with augmented reality in PBL and to determine the effectiveness of e-book physics with augmented reality in PBL to increase student interest. The research method uses the type of Research and Development (R&D) research with 4D models, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of the limited product trial consisted of 30 students, while the subjects of the broad product trial consisted of 105 students. Sample selection technique using random sampling technique. The results showed that physics e-books with augmented reality on temperature and heat materials are very feasible to be used in learning based on assessments by experts in media and material aspects and are suitable for use based on student responses. The use of augmented reality-assisted physics e-books in learning shows that students' interest in learning physics in experimental classes is better than control class 1 and control 2. This shows that the use of interesting augmented reality-assisted physics e-books is able to attract interest in learning so that students are more active in learning.

Teaching physics in real-life contexts continues to be a challenge for teachers at different educational levels. In this article, three context-rich problems are proposed to be implemented in the classroom for higher education, using the explosion that occurred in Beirut as a case study. These problems require the search and analysis of real data, integrating technologies as tools to learn physics. In particular, the analysis of images, videos, maps and audio recordings is suggested. The proposed activities are designed to promote active learning of classical mechanics subjects and the development of collaborative skills. The results of each problem allow a discussion based on scientific evidence in the classroom.

College students' creativity can be seen based on the novelty of research. The main objective of this study was to analyze trends research and publicationof the master of science education at the State University of Surabaya. The descriptive qualitative method used in this study. The data of this study collected by analyse the last five years research abstracts from 2015 to 2020. The data obtained were analyzed using a total sampling technique. Research trends and publication in the Master of Science education at the State University of Surabaya are mostly researching about the development of learning tools with qualitative-quantitative methods and research topics about innovative learning in the field of thinking skills. Some college student research uses curriculum topics, learning media, and assessments. While the publication trend is obtained by analyzing the publication of student articles resulting from the thesis based on the analysis of publications in the category of international and national journals. Department heads need policy recommendations in making decisions to improve research trends and college student publications. current study result implies that research trends in the Master of Science education at the State University of Surabaya require further innovation.
