The COVID-19 pandemic led to an acceleration of digitalisation in healthcare institutions, not only in the medical field but also within non-medical, which includes facility management (FM). FM organisations are increasingly confronted with the need to digitally transform their operations and to implement new digital technologies. This paper aims at providing scholars and professionals with an overview of the various digital technologies and systems that are relevant in shaping the digital transformation. An integrative literature review has been chosen, as it provides a systematic approach to map, collate and report on key findings and concepts from the literature for researchers and practitioners. Overall, 33 articles were systematically reviewed. 22 different digital technologies and systems were identified in the literature and were added to so-called technology clusters. From all the described technologies, Building Information Modelling (BIM) is most prominently cited. Furthermore, Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), Digital Twins (DT), and Blockchain technologies are commonly found. Additional technologies and systems mentioned in the literature, though not further detailed, were also added within a separate cluster. This study also discusses the implications for the digital transformation which is important when introducing novel digital technologies in healthcare organisations. It is argued that FM in healthcare needs to focus on integrating technologies, both at a technological level, and particularly at an organisational and interorganisational level.

The paper deals with two very current topics – brownfields and BIM models, building information models. While BIM models of buildings and their interconnection to other systems (GIS) are both, in the Czech Republic and internationally, the issue discussed not only by the professional public, but also by politicians, brownfields and their databases are at the edge of interest in political-decision-making. It can be said that the brownfield database, ie areas with predominantly defective and unused buildings, with the data contained therein can form the basis for data models of these building and areas. This article outlines the information, data and knowledge of brownfields used by all professions in the AEC industry and examines their compatibility with BIM models of building or areas, that go hand in hand with the current BIM transition in the Czech Republic.

Purpose: Utilization of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is believed to improve planning accuracy, mitigate construction risks, and better plan the entire life cycle of infrastructure asset projects. The application of BIM technology in post-disaster management can combine GIS technology (Geographic Information System) with BIM technology itself, or commonly referred to as geospatial BIM. The purpose of this paper is to apply BIM technology, explain the stages of road planning and modeling with BIM, and identify the advantages of using BIM compared to conventional methods. The road planning location is the location of the Jono Oge liquefaction disaster, Palu, Indonesia. Design/methodology/approach: Data collection, data processing with Agisoft Metashape, DEM data input, and orthophoto image data processed by Agisoft Metashape to Autodesk® InfraWorks®, road planning with Autodesk® InfraWorks®, road planning model output and field data presentation. 3D models, IMX format files, FGDB format files, and animation videos. Findings: The application of BIM technology in planning and modeling road projects at liquefaction locations can be made using Agisoft Metashape software to process aerial photo data taken using drones and using Autodesk® InfraWorks® software for planning and modeling of the road. Research limitations/implications: Modeling Road design in the application of BIM and the use of Autodesk® InfraWorks® applications on the project. We are not modeling the pavement, just visualizing the geometry of the road. Practical implications: BIM implementation can drive time, effort, and realistic 3D visualization.
