Abstract: AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan  untuk meningkatkan prestasi siswa dalam menulis cerita pendek dengan menggunakan pendekatan Saintifik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menerapkan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan melalui tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian berlokasi di FKIP UMSU Medan.
