Abstract:The purpose of this research is to know the implementation of brainstorming method in group investigation model in Economic subjects and improvement of activity and learning result of students of class X IPS 3 SMAN 1 Batu. The research purposes to investigate the impact of the students who teach by using Brainstorming Method and Variety Lecturing Method with the student’s interest at study toward the result of their study on economics subject in MAN 2 Batusangkar. The research is quasy experimental research by using two classes. The population of this research is the students grade X at MAN 2 Batusangkar. The type of sample is cluster and the students X-is3 as the class experiment and class X-is1 as control class. This research using analysis descriptive and inductive analysis by using two-ways of ANOVA. The results showed: (1) There is significant result of the students who got treatment by Brainstorming Method than the students who thought by using Variety Lecturing Method, (2) There is significant result of the students who have good interest in study by using Brainstorming Method than the students who have high interest thought by using Variety Lecturing Method, (3) There is significant result of the students who have low interest in study by using Brainstorming Method in fresh grade, (4)There is no interaction between the use of Brainstorming method and the student’s interest toward the result of their study of fresh grade. After conducted this research, the researcher would like to propose suggestion to the teacher to explore applying Brainstorming Method to increase their student interest in study.

Hasil siswa ekonomi Kelas IX-E tidak memuaskan. Dari 36 siswa, hanya 13 yang berhasil mencapai KKM lebih dari 75, dan 23 siswa lainnya masih belum mencapai KKM kurang dari 69. Ini terjadi karena guru tidak menekankan ekspor dan impor dengan jelas; guru meninggalkan kelas setelah menyelesaikan tugas; guru tidak menggunakan strategi atau pendekatan yang dapat membantu siswa menjadi kreatif; dan siswa terus bermain sendiri di kelas. Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal tentang kegiatan ekspor dan impor, pembelajaran kooperatif dengan metode script harus diperbaiki. Ini juga harus dilakukan agar tujuan pendidikan tercapai. Jenis penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Studi ini melibatkan siswa dari Kelas IX hingga E. Peneliti bertindak sebagai guru di kelas, mitra peneliti, dan pengamat ekspor dan impor. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa metode skrip kolaboratif memiliki standar keberhasilan yang tinggi untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi kegiatan ekspor dan impor di Kelas IX-E SMP Negeri 4 Tulungagung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai post-test siswa telah meningkat di setiap siklus. Nilai mereka bahkan melampaui KKM, mencapai 72,2% pada siklus I dan 88,9% pada siklus II. Akibatnya, siswa Kelas IX-E SMP memiliki hasil belajar yang positif.

This research was motivated by the problems in the low economic literacy of students in economic subjects are supported by still lack of economic literacy of students based on the results of observations. This research aims to reveal the differences in increasing economic literacy of students before being given treatment and after treatment is given through a learning model of Group Investigation (GI) experimental class and conventional learning (lectures) control class. This research is a quantitative research using Quasi Experimental Design. Economic literacy data obtained from the post-test students in the form of essays. These results indicate that there is a difference between economic literacy of students who applied to the learning model group investigation with the economic literacy of students who applied to conventional models. Based on the research results mengguankan t-test. This matterit can be concluded that the Group Investigation learning model can improve economic literacy.
