The purpose of writing is to discuss the financial management of Islamic education at the Darur Rasyid Islamic Boarding School, Aceh Singkil, both from financial planning, financial accounting and financial evaluation and accountability. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, with the approach used is Naturalistic, as well as with triangulation techniques, then data collection techniques using documentation, interviews, and observations. The step of analyzing the data is to collect the data, reduce the data, present the data and then conclude. The results of this study are: 1. The leadership of the Islamic boarding school as top manager and treasurer prepares any programs that will be implemented and then is held together with the head of the foundation, the boarding school committee, as well as the teachers, Then determine how much the budget will be spent on program implementation. 2. There is a financial assistant unit appointed to assist the madrasah treasurer in managing education finances at Darur Rasyid Aceh Singkil Islamic Boarding School. So far, with the existence of the financial assistance unit, it can allocate and distribute Islamic boarding schools' funding sources effectively and efficiently and on target. 3. Bookkeeping or recording of education finances carried out at the Darur Rasyid Aceh Singkil Islamic Boarding School only uses the general treasury book (receipts and disbursements book). The auxiliary cash book or subsidiary ledger tends to not function properly because all receipts and expenditure records are integrated into the general cash book. The details of the cost of each component of expenditure tend to be unreported and not specifically detailed. 4. Education financial reports and accountability are prepared and addressed to foundations and all authorized parties, namely, among others, accountability reports are reported every 6 months. And using the Flat Grant financing model based on the distribution system of funds.

Lingkungan bisnis yang dinamis, bergejolak dan kompleks telah memaksa organisasi masa kini untuk menggunakan informasi dan pengetahuan yang akurat dari lingkungan internal dan eksternal mereka dalam membuat keputusan strategis, operasional dan taktis. Keputusan yang diambil melalui cara ini dapat menghasilkan keunggulan kompetitif berdasarkan sumber daya informasi dan pengetahuan. Inilah sebabnya mengapa abad kedua puluh satu disebut “Abad Pengetahuan” atau “Era Pengetahuan”. Dalam konteks era pengetahuan ini, Peter Drucker, bapak teori manajemen, dengan tepat menggambarkan bahwa baik modal maupun manusia, bahkan sumber daya alam, tidak akan menjadi alat produksi. Sebaliknya itu akan menjadi pengetahuan tambahan yang disajikan dengan teori pandangan berbasis pengetahuan perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode systematic literature review pada penelitian-penelitian dalam rentang waktu tahun 2000-2016. Peneliti menggunakan model manajemen strategis Fred David. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, melibatkan pemutakhiran matriks evaluasi internal dan eksternal kunci secara terus menerus, terbentuk pada tahap perencanaan strategis, dan identifikasi faktor internal dan eksternal lainnya yang muncul. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah pengetahuan dan informasi merupakan sumber daya strategis agar organisasi dapat unggul dan kompetitif.

The problem of education is not a new problem in the world of education in Indonesia. Based on the problem of education is also faced by Islamic educational institutions. This attention cannot be separated from the historical roots of Islamic educational institutions that gave rise to madrasas and schools. In line with the demands of the times, Islamic educational institutions also developed. The problems that arise are both in the form of internal and external factors. Internal factors, for example, are related to the curriculum, educators, education participants and others, while external factors are social factors (society), government and related parties. In terms of measuring the level of success, strengths and weaknesses in strategic management, a SWOT analysis is one of the alternatives used in analyzing educational management. In this study, it deliberately used qualitative research methods. Educational institutions as public organizations need professional management, need to do analysis and consider the possibilities that will be faced in the organization. The concept of strategic management is used in education to further streamline existing resources in order to achieve educational goals by using the SWOT analysis technique.
