“…First of all, the measured impedance of the noise resistor is not generally identical to its resistance. It depends on the ratio of the bias current to the critical current of the junction, on the high frequency power applied to the device, and on the ratio of this frequency to !he tank circuit resonance frequency (Soulen and Giffard 1978, Seppii 1984a, Erne and Luther 1984, Soulen and Van Vechten 1987, Seppa 1989.
