In this study, the researchers employed the AGRONUTRI-X M-learning application as an intervention tool to assess its impact on the academic performance of participants enrolled in vocational colleges. The AGRONUTRI-X app is a smartphone app designed for Android devices, which has been made available for download on the Google Play Store. AGRONUTRI-X integrates the theories of cognitivism, constructivism, contextualism, and behaviourism as part of its instructional design. The design and development of this app were guided by the ADDIE instructional development model. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 63 subjects, divided into a control group (n = 31) and a treatment group (n = 32). The study was conducted at two vocational colleges offering a Crop Agroindustry programme. The effect of using the AGRONUTRI-X M-learning app on the topic of fertigation nutrients mix has been evaluated using theoretical and practical academic achievement test instruments. The validity of three experts using the content validity item index (I-CVI) on both research instruments has demonstrated a high level of validity. The reliability of the academic achievement instrument was measured using the inter-rater reliability (IRR) method using Cohen's Kappa statistic; the kappa value obtained was ≥.75The data from the study were analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including the mean, standard deviation, t-test, and Cohen's effect size. The mean post-test academic achievement for the treatment group (M = 84.41; SD = 2.87) was found to be significantly greater than the mean post-test academic achievement of the control group (M = 61.74; SD = 5.78). The results of the independent sample t-test indicated a statistically significant disparity in the post-test achievement scores between the control group and the treatment group [t(61) = -19.599; p < .005]. with a large Cohen's effect size (d > .8). The results of a paired sample t-test indicated a statistically significant difference between the pre-and post-test scores of the treatment group [t(31) = -29.77, p =<.005]. From time immemorial, books have had a very intimate relationship in human life. Books are considered a symbol of civilization because of their relationship to reading habits. This is because the habit is an effort to develop human potential through the addition of knowledge. Doing research on the book industry is an interesting thing, because its development in line with technology is amazing. For example, today, reading material in the form of audio-books is increasingly gaining the attention of the world community. Nevertheless, books in physical form still have sentimental value in the hearts of readers, and still dominate the world market. Using a library approach through data collection on the website, this study examines the development of the book industry and its relationship with reading culture in Malaysia. In addition, factors that promote reading culture were also identified. In conclusion, efforts to increase the publication of books and cultivate the community with book activities must be continued and support from all parties must be done so that books can be fully utilized by the community.

Kajian analisis keperluan ini dijalankan untuk melihat kepada isu dan permasalahan tajuk Seni Lukisan yang membawa kepada perlunya pembangunan aplikasi ApSeL. Penghasilan bahan pembelajaran berbentuk aplikasi berasaskan android tidak asing lagi pada masa kini. Aplikasi ini boleh menjadi pencetus kepada minat murid untuk belajar. Para pendidik harus berani menghasilkan inovasi dalam pedagogi pengajaran untuk menyediakan bahan pengajaran dan pembelajaran kepada generasi ini agar senario pendidikan masa kini selari dengan perkembangan teknologi. Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengenal pasti keperluan pembangunan aplikasi ApSeL bagi tajuk Seni Lukisan di sekolah menengah. Kajian dijalankan secara kuantitatif menggunakan instrumen soal selidik. Responden kajian terdiri daripada 184 guru-guru Pendidikan Seni Visual yang mengajar Tingkatan 3 dari 180 buah sekolah menengah di negeri Kedah yang dipilih. Data yang dikumpul dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif menggunakan perisian SPSS versi 26.0 bagi mengukur tahap keperluan pembangunan aplikasi berkenaan. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan interpretasi yang tinggi terhadap keperluan untuk pembangunan aplikasi seni lukisan di sekolah menengah bagi menyokong pembelajaran digital masa kini. Impak kajian ini memberikan maklumat kukuh tentang potensi pengintegrasian teknologi dalam pembelajaran pendidikan seni visual di sekolah menengah.
