The present study was conducted to explore the impact of corn starch nanoparticles (CSNPs) on the morphological, optical, and dielectric behaviors of the PVA/PMMA/PAAm (PPP) hybrid polymer matrix. The resultant PPP-CS nanocomposite films were synthesized employing the solvent casting procedure. Scanning electron microscope(SEM) images of the as-synthesized films revealed the successful embedding, homogeneity, and fine dispersion of CSNPs within the host PPP. No changes in the infrared ray(IR) band positions were seen upon embedding. The absorbance-λ chart illustrated an absorption band at 220 nm with red-shift toward higher wavelengths, which points out the semi crystalline structure of PPP-CS films. The optical coefficients were improved upon inclusion of CSNPs. The optical bandgap energy reduces from 4.50 to 4.12 eV as CSNPs' weight percentage increases from 0 wt% to 4 wt%. Furthermore, the refractive index values for PPP-CS films are in the range of 0.5 and 2.5. The dielectric constants of the obtained films decreased with the increase in CSNPs, except for the conductivity. The embedding of a small amount of CSNPs into the hydrophilic matrix significantly improved the composite's bioactivity. The inhibition zone diameters of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria were calculated to be 0, 26, and 32 mm for 0 wt%, 2 wt%, and 4 wt% CSNPs, respectively. The findings of this study are significant for the development of novel nanocomposite materials with antibacterial activity for optoelectronic device applications.

Initial production of the titanium dioxide nanoparticles TiO2 used the hydrothermal process. The onion peels and chitosan peel extracts, which are made using the Bio-synthesize approach. By using (UV-Vis) properties, the structural characteristics of TiO2 and TiO2 with extract from onion peels and chitosan peels were studied, and find the absorption edge of TiO2 NPs, TiO2 + onion peels and TiO2 + chitosan peels is around 236 nm, 244 nm and 237.5 nm respectively. The pattern of TiO2 for a number of peaks suggested a tetragonal rutile phase, according to X-ray diffraction (XRD) research. Energy dispersive X-ray, (EDX) was done for TiO2 NPs, TiO2 + onion peels and TiO2 + chitosan peels. Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) shows that the diameters ranging of TiO2 NPs, TiO2 + onion peels and TiO2 + chitosan peels from (43.32 nm to 47.77 nm), (34.11 nm to 62.77 nm) and (32.22 nm to 35.11 nm) respectively. Studying was done on the effect of TiO2 & TiO2 with extracts nanoparticles on bacterial growth, a variation was observed in the effect of the TiO2 & TiO2 with extracts on the growth of bacteria.

Polymer-based graphene nanocomposites significantly impact dental filler materials and antibacterial applications. Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) was used to improve the properties of nano and hybrid-dental fillings reinforced using synthesis graphene oxide (GO). Developed acoustic-solutionsonication-casting procedures were used to fabricate the new PMMA-dental filler-GO nanocomposites and the morphology, structure, optical properties, and antibacterial activity of samples were investigated. Fourier transforms infrared (FTIR) exposed good interaction among the PMMA, filling, and GO nanosheets. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and optical microscope (OPM) images revealed homogeneous samples and fine dispersion with improved morphology and overcoming cavities and cracks in the samples. The incorporation of PMMA and PMMA-GO in the nanocomposites showed promising properties: Absorption peak presented at 320 nm of samples enhanced from 0.8 (N1) to 0.98 (N3) for nano-fillers and from 0.7 (H1) to 0.97 (H3) for hybrid-fillers. Bandgap reduction from 3.35 (N1) to 3.15 (N3) for nano-fillers and from 3.10 (H1) to 2.75 (H3) for hybrid-fillers in allowed indirect transition, whereas it reduced from 3.38 (N1) to 3.00 (N3) for nanofillers and from 3.05 (H1) to 2.75 (H3) for hybrid-fillers in forbidden indirect transition after the contribution of PMMA and GO nanosheets. The inhibition zone of the Klebsiella bacteria significantly expanded from 17 to 23 mm for nano-fillers and from 16 to 22 mm for hybrid-fillers. Nanofillers nanocomposites presented better properties and inhabitances zone diameter of antibacterial compared with non-reinforced dental fillers.
