To assess the advantages of the supply of agricultural products and food in specialized refrigerated containers, to show the main channels for the supply of food cargo by container trains on Eurasian transport routes. Research methods: when preparing a scientific article, methods of scientific research in logistics were used: structural analysis, technical parameterization, process analysis of supply chains. Results: the advantages for cargo owners of the service of food shipments by specialized refrigerated container trains are substantiated, visual diagrams of geographical routes of food shipments in the direction of Russia - China are presented, descriptions of survey logistics services, Glonass navigation services and tracking of the location and temperature regime of the transported container are given. Recommendations: the results of the published study are recommended to be used by specialists of logistics services of cargo owners in the process of designing the delivery and shipment of food cargo according to seamless multimodal delivery schemes.

Background: The electronic Freight Transport Information (eFTI) regulation is critical in modernizing freight transport (FT) within the European Union by establishing a framework for the electronic exchange of information. Despite its importance, there is a notable gap in the literature regarding the practical implementation challenges, especially from an empirical perspective. Methods: To address this gap, our study utilized a grounded theory approach, conducting interviews with a diverse group of logistics experts from Greece. The selection of experts was strategic to ensure a comprehensive range of knowledge and expertise, including insights at the policy level as well as practical experiences. Results: Our findings highlight several significant challenges in the implementation of eFTI, including the digital skill gap among the workforce, issues with system interoperability, and diverse capacities and resources of companies of different sizes. Economic factors, regulatory frameworks and the necessity for targeted training and leadership support were also identified as crucial for the digital transition. Conclusions: The study shows that uniform eFTI implementation may not work for all organizations, highlighting the necessity for customized strategies that address specific challenges in the FT chain. Our research deepens the understanding of these issues, providing actionable insights for successful eFTI adoption.

The economy is currently undergoing significant changes and fluctuations, requiring the transport industry to adapt and improve its services in a timely manner. The most relevant now is the issue of digitalization of transport services, which entails both an increase in the speed of transportation and a gradual departure from a large amount of paper workflow. These changes are taking place, in particular, in the field of railway transport, the role of which in the strategic development of the eastern range is the most important, demonstrating an increase in traffic volumes, minimization of delays in transit, as well as stability and regularity of shipments. The purpose of this article is to substantiate the feasibility of digitalizing the process of transporting goods by rail through the introduction of a specialized digital platform. The authors put forward and prove the assumption that the use of such a platform can reduce the loss of time at all stages of cargo transportation, reduce the costs associated with the transportation process, and also provide more flexible access to infrastructure. It also confirms the increase in the efficiency of interaction between all participants in the transportation process: from the carrier company to the supervisory authorities. The article proposes a regulation for processing documentation using electronic document management, which includes the use of mobile workstations; the importance of the spread of digital services to the process of intermodal transportation of goods and, as a result, the increase in the reliability of such transportation is argued. The results obtained are of an applied nature, since they propose and justify a number of measures aimed at enhancing the electronic interaction of participants in the process of cargo transportation.
