When entering the 21st century, China's spectacular progress, especially in the economic field, has led to the emergence of the opinion that the 21st century is the 'Chinese Century.' Xi Jinping, who started leading the PRC in 2012, seemed to want to emphasize that opinion and started by propagating the 'Chinese Dream.' A year later, Xi floated the idea of revitalizing the Silk Road, which later developed into the Belt-Road Initiative (BRI). BRI is projected to connect China directly to three of the seven continents in the world, in which infrastructure development and trade cooperation are the primary concerns. This article uses a historical approach to discuss how the BRI can be seen as a process of completing Xi Jinping's historical tasks. The review focuses on tracing the sustainability of the PRC leaders' policies and the BRI policy's operational basis. From there, it was revealed that after the PRC succeeded in developing the rhetoric of the presence of the 'Chinese Century,' the BRI, with all its implications, was a process to realize the Chinese dream, formulated in the Liangge Yibai target. The whole process is Xi Jinping's historical task that must be completed.

Although the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has become the largest global platform for economic, social, and energy cooperation, there remains a question of how to effectively utilize its globalizing role to promote sustainable development among the countries along the route. Innovation capability is identified as the key to resolving sustainable development issue, because innovation capability has the potential to effectively reconcile the conflict between economic development and environmental conservation. Therefore, this study has opted to utilize a sample of 99 countries across the globe, comprising of 78 BRI countries and 21 non‐BRI countries. The DDD model has been employed to examine the impact of innovation capability on sustainable development in the BRI. The result shows that BRI can contribute to the achievement of green sustainable development. Innovation serves as an effective means to improve green sustainable development, which can be achieved through green technical progress and green technical efficiency. In addition, global cooperation has a significant moderating effect on this outcome, with the foreign direct investment and trade capability being the main moderators of economic global cooperation, while digital capability, infrastructure, and social exchange are the main moderators of social global cooperation. Finally, in the regional heterogeneity analysis, we find that the results of the role of the four continents are more consistent with the regression results of the total world sample, the difference being that the moderating role of global cooperation is not consistent across states.

Study of Optimized End-to-End Convolutional Neural Network in Cross-Cultural Project Management under the “Belt and Road” Initiative

Under the "Belt and Road" policy, the Chinese government encourages economic cooperation and mutual benefits among countries and regions along the route, promoting cooperation in infrastructure construction, trade and investment facilitation, financial cooperation, and cultural exchanges. This study aims to explore the application of optimized end-to-end convolutional neural networks (CNNs) in cross-cultural project management under the "Belt and Road" strategy. Firstly, the background and significance of the "Belt and Road" strategy and the importance of cross-cultural project management are introduced. Then, an end-to-end stereo matching network with dense feature fusion is established. Taking Project X as an example, the problems in cross-cultural project management are analyzed. Finally, through the analysis of the problems in Project X, the effectiveness and practicality of the optimized end-to-end CNNs in cross-cultural project management are confirmed, and feasible solutions are proposed. The research results show that the end-to-end stereo matching network with dense feature fusion has significant advantages over traditional algorithms in terms of error and execution efficiency, with a reduced response time of 0.22 seconds. Based on the principles of the end-to-end model, feasible solutions are proposed for the problems in Project X, validating the rationality and scientific nature of this research. Through deep learning techniques, the efficiency and accuracy of cross-cultural project management can be improved, promoting economic cooperation and cultural exchanges among countries and regions along the "Belt and Road". This technology can also identify and analyze behaviors and attitudes in different cultural backgrounds, helping project managers better understand and address issues in cross-cultural communication. Furthermore, this technology will facilitate economic cooperation and cultural exchanges along the "Belt and Road", promoting the implementation of the strategy.
