A report by Dobashi et al [4] showed that both Cu/Zn-SOD and Mn-SOD were localized in various tissues and suggested that the distribution of Mn-SOD in tissues such as the heart, skeletal muscle and kidney reflected their relatively high numbers of mitochondria.…”
