“…Dincer et al [ 34 ] observed 67% immobilization yield when tyrosinase was immobilized on chitosan-clay composite beads. Dhiman et al [ 12 ] immobilized β-mannanase on sodium alginate-grafted-β-cyclodextrin, which resulted in 91.5% immobilization yield. This suggests that the enzyme leakage in our study was higher compared to study by Dhiman et al [ 12 ], which could be improved in the future studies.…”

The protein loading efficiency of Man/Cel5B was found to be 73.3% which was almost similar to the protein loading efficiency (78.4%) observed by Kaushal et al [ 23 ] when catalase was immobilized on glutaraldehyde cross-linked chitosan beads.…”

“…The mixture was titrated to estimate the quantity of the produced EV (Equation ( 1)). The method by Dhiman et al [29] was adopted with minor modification to compare the thermal denaturation and thermodynamic parameters, such as activation and activation energy of free CRL and CRL/SiO 2 /Fe 3 O 4 ,/GO. The effect of temperature on both lipases was tested between 20 and 50 • C, where their lipase activities were monitored for 3 h. The first-order rate constants (k a ) were calculated using Equations ( 3) and (4):…”

“…In terms of chemical modification, Dhiman et al (2019) modified sodium alginate with β-cyclodextrin by adding sodium alginate and β-cyclodextrin to sodium hydroxide solution. The mixture was further mixed under constant temperature in a water bath.…”
