Imiquimod: the biochemical mechanisms of immunomodulatory and anti-inflammatory activity

Abstract: Imidazoquinolins represent a new group of compounds that recently entered into clinical practice as anti-tumor and anti-viral immune modulators. They are low molecular weight synthetic guanosine-like molecules.
