In addition, the usefulness of these drugs extends beyond treatment of depression to include panic disorder (Klein, Gittelman, Quitkin, & Rifkin, et al, 1980;Amsterdam, Brunswick, & Mendels, et al, 1980), enuresis (Shaffer, 1977), school phobia (Rabiner & Klein, 1969), pain (Adler, 1978;Davis, Lewis, Gerich, Kaplan, Schultz, & Wallin, 1977), and cardiac ventricular ectopy (Klein et al, 1980). Clearly, these are not all affective variants, nor should their response to "antidepressants" construe them as such.…”
