Abstract:Iterative algorithms, which use diffracted intensities and some a-priori knowledge of an image to solve the phase problem, have been under development for many years. The promised super-resolution images, reconstructed from diffraction information alone, would be of the greatest value for molecular imaging and for the image of nonperiodic structures in materials. Using simulated data it is possible, for example, to reconstruct a complex object from a knowledge of its diffracted intensities with certain… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
