The current study was carried out to guide future studies on STEM education for gifted students. To this end, a bibliometric analysis of the STEM and STEAM education studies for talented students was conducted in the SCOPUS database. The bibliometric mapping method was used in this research. In the SCOPUS database, a search was performed by using the keywords "Gifted," "Talented," "STEM," and "STEAM" to filter the studies belonging to these two fields together (Access date: 22.06.2022). In the first stage of the search, 464 studies were reached. However, it was decided to analyze 124 of them, which were found to comply with research purposes, whose peer-review process was completed, and which were conducted in social studies and education. The analysis was carried out with the VosViewer program. According to the findings, an increase has been observed in studies on the subject since 2017. The highest number of publications is in the USA (n=86). While it was seen that concepts such as spatial skills, creativity, specialized schools, enrichment, and gender differences were extensively researched in STEM education for gifted students, it was determined that more research is needed on concepts such as entrepreneurship, career guidance, career interest, and e-learning. In this respect, bibliometric studies can be carried out to investigate these less-studied concepts by reviewing the literature on STEM or STEAM in other databases.

The relevance of this study is determined by the intensive development of pedagogical sciences in Kazakhstan. The aim of the work is to analyze trends in pedagogical research in Kazakhstan based on data from the Scopus database for the period from 2000 to 2023. The research methodology includes the collection of data on the keywords "education" and "Kazakhstan," their preliminary processing, and statistical analysis using SPSS to identify the main trends and directions of development in this scientific field. The results showed a gradual increase in the number of publications from 7 paper in 2000 to 287 in 2023, indicating an increased scientific interest in pedagogy in Kazakhstan. The geographical analysis revealed the leading role of Kazakhstan with 1531 publications, as well as significant contributions from researchers from the Russian Federation, the United States, and other countries, emphasizing the international importance of Kazakh pedagogical research. The thematic analysis of keywords confirmed the wide range of topics studied and the multidisciplinary approaches, highlighting educational reform, multilingualism in teaching, and the introduction of innovative technologies into the educational process as the main directions. The conclusions of the study emphasize the theoretical and practical importance of analyzing pedagogical publications for the further development of educational science in Kazakhstan and emphasize the need to continue comprehensive interdisciplinary research in this area.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between the perfectionism and selfefficacy of gifted children. In this study, Child and Adolescent Perfectionism Scale and Self-Efficacy Scale for Children will be used as data collection tools. The research was carried out by scanning design, one of the quantitative research methods. While selecting the sample of the study, criterion sampling, which is the purposeful sampling type, was used. In the study, the sampling criteria of the students were considered as SAC (Science and Art Centers) students, who were diagnosed as being gifted.Participation in the study is entirely voluntary. The study group of the research consists of 507 students (3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades) studying in SAC various provinces of Turkey. The obtained data were analyzed with the descriptive and complementary statistical method. While there is no significant difference in the child and adolescent perfectionism levels of gifted students according to gender and the independent variables of the period they studied at SAC, there is a significant difference according to the independent variables of school type, grade levels, number of siblings and ranking among siblings. While there is no significant differentiation in the self-efficacy levels of gifted students according to gender, school type and number of siblings' independent variables, there is a significant difference in class levels, periods of study in SAC, and ranking independent variables between siblings. It was concluded that there was no significant and positive relationship between the answers given by gifted students to the Child and Adolescent Perfectionism Scale and the answers they gave to the Children's Self-Efficacy Scale.
