This study aims to examine types of communication such as horizontal communication, downward communication and upward communication that impact employee performance in a property development company in Malaysia. Survey questionnaire approach was applied to collect data in this study. A total of 120 respondents participated in this research. The results indicated that downward communication (DC) and horizontal communication (HC) have significant positive impacts towards employee performance. The research finding is able to provide insights and important information to the property development firms to better understand the importance of communication among employees in enhancing employee performance. For this to happen, management may focus on the development of soft skills to increase the ability to express and communicate among the employees. Management should organize more activities such as inter-departmental meetings to create quality bonding among superiors and subordinates. Proper training and development plan should be established to realize effective communication in the organization.

The increase in higher education internationalisation has called for finding possible ways to understand and improve its related issues. Despite the financial, cultural, and social benefits that international students bring to host countries' educational institutions, the challenges they encounter in a new environment are hard to deal with, especially acculturative stress and adjustment problems in a new environment. As international students are at the heart of education internationalisation, it is crucial to understand and address their adjustment issues for a sustainable education management. Therefore, this study develops a conceptual framework to portray international students' adjustment issues in a host country from perspectives of field theory and cross-cultural adaptation theory. The proposed conceptual model not only considers factors influencing international students' cross-cultural adaptation in a host country, but it also highlights the outcomes of such adaptation which can provide managerial implications for sustaining higher education mobility growth.

Hizmet sektörü incelendiğinde, müşterilerin kalite algısı, hizmetten memnuniyeti ve kurum hakkındaki düşüncelerinin oluşumunda ona hizmet veren çalışanın etkisinin oldukça yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Dolayısıyla, çalışan davranışının çok etkili olduğu bu sektörde kalifiye personeli örgüte çekmek ve örgütüyle özdeşleşmesini sağlamak oldukça önemli hale gelmiştir. Örgütler için bu örgütsel davranışları sağlamak adına ise günümüzde birçok işletmenin üzerinde durduğu kavram kurumsal itibardır. Bu araştırmanın amacı yeme içme sektöründe çalışanların kurumsal itibar algılarının örgütsel çekicilik ve örgütsel özdeşleşme üzerine etkisini araştırmaktır. Araştırmanın evreni, İstanbul ilinde yeme içme sektöründe çalışan 361.941 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Örneklem kolayda örneklem yöntemi ile seçilen 812 kişiden oluşmakta olup veriler anket uygulaması ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerle Açıklayıcı Faktör Analizi (AFA) yapılarak faktörler belirlenmiş, sonrasında Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) yapılmış, uyum iyilikleri olumlu sonuç vermiştir. Yapısal Eşitlik Modeli (YEM) tahmin edilerek ilişkilerin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Alt boyut ilişkilerini ölçümlemek için de korelasyon analizi yapılmıştır. Yapılan Yapısal Eşitlik Modeli (YEM) tahmin modeline Kurumsal itibar tüm alt boyutları ile birlikte örgütsel çekiciliği ve örgütsel özdeşleşmeyi pozitif yönde ve anlamlı etkilemektedir. Kurumsal itibar genel boyutu; örgütsel çekicilik genel boyutunu %62,4 , örgütsel özdeşleşme genel boyutunu %52,8, oranında pozitif yönde (artırıcı) etkilemektedir. Literatürde kurumsal itibarın bu çalışmada kullanılan alt boyutları ile örgütsel çekicilik arasındaki ilişkilerin incelendiği başka bir çalışmaya rastlanmamıştır. Böylece çalışmada elde edilen kurumsal itibarın boyutlar bazında örgütsel çekicilikle ilişkilerine yönelik bulguların literatüre kurumsal itibar ile örgütsel çekicilik arasındaki ilişkiye dair daha detaylı ampirik kanıtlar sunarak katkı sağladığı değerlendirilmektedir. Araştırmada incelenen üç değişkenin bir arada kullanıldığı literatürde çok sayıda araştırmaya rastlanılmadığından bu çalışmanın alan yazına katkıda bulunması beklenmektedir.
