Abstract: Embryonic stem cells (ESCs) are self-renewing pluripotent cells, capable of differentiating into all somatic cell types. The molecular control of self-renewal is relatively well-characterized, whereas how ESCs exit pluripotent state to differentiate is poorly understood.
