Identification of FeH molecular lines in the spectrum of a sunspot umbra

Abstract: Abstract. A high resolution spectrum of a large -sunspot umbra is used for identification of two bands (2−0) and (2−1) of the 4 ∆− 4 ∆ system of the FeH molecule, in addition to the previously identified bands (0−0) and (1−0) of the same system. The spectrum was obtained with FTS of the McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope of NSO/NOAO at Kitt Peak.
