Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Indonesian women. A number of drugs derived from native ingredients have been widely developed and researched for the treatment of breast cancer, one of which is propolis from Indonesia. This study aims to determine the interaction of propolis bioactive compounds on the breast cancer receptor ERα and to establish its pharmacokinetic and toxicity properties in silico. The methods used include virtual screening toxicity, pharmacokinetics, docking, and molecular dynamic simulation of 111 bioactive compounds of propolis from was collected from database and compared with 4-hydroxytamoxifen (4-OHT). The results of virtual screening showed that propolis bioactive compounds had good pharmacokinetics, were not toxic and had the best Gibbs free energy (ΔG) and inhibition constant (Ki). Molecular dynamics simulations were continued for three compounds with the best virtual screening values, namely 4-OHT, PRO9 and PRO62. The conclusion of the molecular mechanics-Generalised Born surface area (MM-GBSA) calculation showed that PRO62 has the smallest ∆G total value (-48.469 Kcal/mol) compared to 4-OHT and PRO9. The bioactive compound propolis, namely PRO62 or lanosterol (3-beta), has a more stable interaction than 4-OHT against ERα.

The aim of this study was to find out how neem leaf extract affected the immune systems of Tilapia (O. niloticus) that had A. hydrophila in their bodies. This included looking at its phytochemistry, antibacterial properties, bioactive compounds, and ability to make the immune system stronger. The extraction uses methanol. The phytochemical test of neem leaf extract includes flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins, saponins, and triterpenoids. We obtained the isolate A. hydrophila from the Jepara Brackish Water Aquaculture. Kanker merupakan penyakit mematikan ditandai dengan ploriferasi sel atau pembelahan sel yang tidakterkontrol. Pengobatan kanker dengan pembedahan dan radioterapi paling efektif untuk kanker lokal dannon-metastasis. Selain pengobatan secara medis, pasien penderita kanker juga menggunakan pengobatanherbal karena lebih rendahnya efek samping yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untukmengetahui aktivitas senyawa phytol hasil ekstrak daun Zodia (Evodia sauveolens) sebagai antikankersecara in silico. Teknik penelitian ini secara in silico dimana menggunakan aplikasi komputer yangmelakukan kajian interaksi sekaligus memprediksi aktivitas senyawa hipotetik. Beberapa langkah yangdilakukan yaitu tahap preparasi sampel (koleksi ligan senyawa, koleksi protein, sterilisasi dan minimasi), tahapan molecular docking lalu tahapan visualisasi. Tanaman Zodia terbukti memiliki aktivitas antikankerbaik secara in vitro maupun in vivo dengan mengurangi aktivitas hambat pada proses proliferasi, metastasis, dan invasi, dan juga merangsang proses apoptosis berbagai jenis sel tumor. Pada penelitian inimenggunakan senyawa Phytol yang merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak senyawa yang terkandungdi dalam ekstrak daun Zodia, dan memiliki potensi sebagai antikanker kolorektal secara in silico. Hasilpenelitian ini yaitu molecular docking antara senyawa phytol dengan protein ALK berupa data nilaibinding af inity sebesar -5,8 kcal/mol dan nilai RMSD 1,448 Å. Senyawa phytol tidak efektif untukdijadikan calon obat antikanker kolorektal, dilihat dari bioaktivitas senyawa phytol yang terlihat adanyaaktivitas antiinflamasi dari adanya penghambatan migrasi neutrophil, dan mengurangi inflamasiinterleukin (IL-1β) dan Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF-α) dan stres oksidatif.
