A short review of the existing methods, description of the experimental stand, testing procedure, and calculation formula is given. The proposed method is based on the energy approach with special reversive symmetric motions. For implementation of the proposed method, the vessel hull is fixed in the special testing stand where an elastic element is used as the main engine. For the exact symmetry of the programmed rotating motion, the servo drive with a flywheel is installed.
