“…In the last few years, many techniques have been developed for determination of CA. For instance, Bhagya et al designed a ultra-high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) -diode array detector (DAD) coupled with electrospray ionization mass spectroscopy (UHPLC-ESI-MS/MS) platform for chromatographic detection of CA [13], Gómez-Mejía et al detected the CA by matrix solid-phase dispersion extraction assisted by titanium dioxide nanoparticles [14], Moreno-González et al measured the CA by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry [15], and Pelle et al detected the CA by electrochemical method with synthesized nanocomposite such as tungsten disulfide (WS 2 ) flakes decorated with catechincapped gold nanoparticles [16]. Among them, voltammetric determination of polyphenols including CA has gained the most attention due to its stability, fast response and sensitivity.…”

“…Compound 12 exhibited a parent ion at m / z 319.0453 [M+H] + as well as fragment ions at m / z 245.0468 [(M+H)-C 3 H 6 O 2 ] + , 217.0505 [(M+H)-C 3 H 6 O 2 -CO] + , and 153.0187 [(M+H)-C 7 H 2 O 5 ] + , due to the loss of 74 amu, 102 amu, and 166 amu. According to the similar fragment pattern, this compound was distinctly identified as myricetin [ 31 ]. Similarly, compound 13 , which showed a molecular ion at m / z 303.0504 [M+H] + , with MS 2 fragment ions at 229.0503 [(M+H)-C 3 H 6 O 2 ] + , 153.0817 [(M+H)-C 7 H 2 O 4 ] + , 137.0232 [(M+H)-C 7 H 2 O 5 ] + , was easily identified as quercetin.…”
