Identification and Characterization of Antibiotic-Producing Actinomycetes Isolates

Abstract: Actinomycetes are a gram-positive, filamentous subgroup of bacteria most known for antibiotic production. In fact, most of the antibiotics available today have originated from actinomycetes, namely from the genus Streptomyces.
