School inclusion is a movement that seeks to reach people who are outside the school context due to their different condition. The term “special needs” is broad and involves many factors. According to the legislation, it is applicable to any human being who has a physical, mental, intellectual and/or sensory impairment, preventing his/her participation in daily and school life. The concept of “High Abilities / Giftedness” is still debatable. The most current, adopted by our legislation, refers to the individual’s performance in his/her area of interest, demonstrating above-average capacity. The objective of this work was to review the literature on high Abilities in EPT and regular teaching present in publications in the last five years. A bibliographic review on high Abilities /giftedness was carried out, in Portuguese, in research databases such as Scientific Electronic Library Online – SciELO and Google Scholar, between 2017 and 2021. Inclusion is a process that requires a change of attitude towards to people who are considered different. In education, this movement begins to gain ground in schools, and inclusive education slowly becomes a reality. In this context, people with AH/SD[6] indicators suffer from the same problems, with the aggravating factor of being considered students without learning difficulties (and with ease). The teaching process needs to adapt processes, materials and adequate training for all teachers. In Vocational Education, the problems regarding the identification and attendance of this public seem to be similar to the regular school and other teaching modalities.

Abilità elevate nell'EPT e nell'insegnamento regolare: una rassegna degli ultimi cinque anni

L’inclusione scolastica è un movimento che cerca di raggiungere le persone che si trovano al di fuori del contesto scolastico a causa della loro diversa condizione. Il termine “bisogni speciali” è ampio e coinvolge molti fattori. Secondo la normativa, è applicabile a qualsiasi essere umano che presenti una menomazione fisica, mentale, intellettuale e/o sensoriale, impedendo la sua partecipazione alla vita quotidiana e scolastica. Il concetto di “Abilità elevate/Plusdotazione ” è ancora discutibile. La più attuale, adottata dalla nostra normativa, si riferisce alla prestazione del soggetto nella propria area di interesse, dimostrando capacità superiori alla media. L’obiettivo di questo lavoro era quello di rivedere la letteratura sulle abilità elevate nell’EPT e sull’insegnamento regolare presente nelle pubblicazioni negli ultimi cinque anni. Tra il 2017 e il 2021 è stata effettuata una revisione bibliografica sulle abilità elevate/plusdotazione, in portoghese, in banche dati di ricerca come Scientific Electronic Library Online – SciELO e Google Scholar. L’inclusione è un processo che richiede un cambiamento di atteggiamento nei confronti delle persone che sono considerato diverso. Nell’istruzione, questo movimento inizia a guadagnare terreno nelle scuole e l’istruzione inclusiva diventa lentamente una realtà. In questo contesto, le persone con indicatori AH/SD[6] soffrono degli stessi problemi, con l’aggravante di essere considerati studenti senza difficoltà di apprendimento (e con facilità). Il processo di insegnamento deve adattare processi, materiali e una formazione adeguata per tutti gli insegnanti. Nell’Istruzione Professionale, i problemi relativi all’identificazione e alla frequenza di questo pubblico sembrano essere simili a quelli della scuola normale e altre modalità di insegnamento.

Hautes compétences en EPT et enseignement régulier : bilan des cinq dernières années

L’inclusion scolaire est un mouvement qui cherche à atteindre les personnes qui sont en dehors du contexte scolaire en raison de leur condition différente. Le terme « besoins spéciaux » est large et implique de nombreux facteurs. Selon la législation, il est applicable à tout être humain qui présente une déficience physique, mentale, intellectuelle et/ou sensorielle, l’empêchant de participer à la vie quotidienne et scolaire. Le concept de « hautes compétences / surdouance » est encore discutable. La plus actuelle, adoptée par notre législation, fait référence à la performance de l’individu dans son domaine d’intérêt, démontrant une capacité supérieure à la moyenne. L’objectif de ce travail était de faire une revue de la littérature sur les hautes compétences en EPT et l’enseignement régulier présente dans les publications des cinq dernières années. Une revue bibliographique sur les hautes compétences / surdouance a été réalisée, en portugais, dans des bases de données de recherche telles que Scientific Electronic Library Online – SciELO et Google Scholar, entre 2017 et 2021. L’inclusion est un processus qui nécessite un changement d’attitude envers les personnes considéré comme différent. Dans le domaine de l’éducation, ce mouvement commence à gagner du terrain dans les écoles, et l’éducation inclusive devient lentement une réalité. Dans ce contexte, les personnes ayant des indicateurs AH/SD[6] souffrent des mêmes problèmes, avec le facteur aggravant d’être considérés comme des étudiants sans difficultés d’apprentissage (et avec facilité). Le processus d’enseignement doit adapter les processus, le matériel et une formation adéquate pour tous les enseignants. Dans l’enseignement professionnel, les problèmes d’identification et de fréquentation de ce public semblent être similaires à l’école ordinaire et autres modalités d’enseignement.
