Iatrogenic Cushing syndrome due to topical glicocorticosteroid therapy

Abstract: Topical glicocorticosteroids are the most common drugs to treat acute and chronic inflammatory skin diseases. Prolonged use of them may cause systemic adverse effects including Cushing's syndrome and hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis suppression.
