Salmonella enterica Serovar Pullorum Persists in Splenic Macrophages and in the Reproductive Tract during Persistent, Disease-Free Carriage in Chickens

Abstract: Salmonella enterica serovar Pullorum is worldwide a poultry pathogen of considerable economic importance, particularly in those countries with a developing poultry industry.
