Umbel blight symptoms have also been described on wild and cultivated fennel and were assigned to Diaporthe foeniculacea in France (Du Manoir & Vegh, 1981), Portugal (Phillips, 2003) and Bulgaria (Rodeva & Gabler, 2011).
