Mycobacterium tuberculosis sRNA MTS2823 regulates the growth of the multidrug-resistant strain in macrophages

Abstract: Tuberculosis (TB), caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB), is a serious contagious disease. MTB-encoded small regulatory RNA (sRNA) MTS2823 was reported to be upregulated in the plasma of TB patients. Nevertheless, whether MTS2823 is implicated in MTB drug resistance is unclear.
