Caribothyrus barbatusn. gen., n. sp., a new holothyrid mite (Acari: Neothyridae) from Dominican Republic

Abstract: A new holothyrid genus and species (Caribothyrus barbatus n. gen., n. sp.) was found in the Dominican Republic (Caribbean Islands). Description, drawings and photos of the genus and species are given.
